Intersection with Desert Lake Road - Rideau Trail

This part of the trail crosses Stinky Creek. Famous trail is only about 40 metres to the south of this point.

The remains of an old corduroy mining road are visible entering the lake. The trail leaves the shore, turning eastward for about 20 metres into a dense hemlock grove.
