Lakehead Loop Trail

Silent Lake Provincial Park   

If you happen to be chatting with a friend while hiking Silent Lake, any pause in conversation will quickly explain the name choice.

This, refers to the natural environment in the area which is mostly free from traffic and noise.

On the many occasions that it becomes a popular destination for families coming to admire the immense forests of Hemlock, Maple, and Red Oak.
