Maitland Woods Trail
The Maitland Woods Trail is a lovely serene trail on the south edge of Goderich. Goderich is located on the Eastern Shore of Lake Huron, between Sarnia and the Bruce Penninsula. As you look west out onto Lake Huron it is evident that this area of the world is home to some of the finest sunsets and water/sky vistas on the planet.
It is rich in its variety of trees, plant life and birds, and includes creeks and ponds. Boardwalks and corduroy sections are in place in the wet areas to protect the plant life. No pets please.
