McKeough Conservation Area
A 3 km trail winds through a forest just south of the McKeough Dam.
This trail goes through a prime Carolinian Forest which supports a large population of the rare blue ash. The floodway channel also provides a 7 km (one way) walk from the St. Clair River to the dam.
This wildlife corridor has been planted with 100,000 trees over the last ten years. The grass channel and treed berms make for excellent wildlife habitat.
