Peterborough, Hasting & Campbellford Trail

The surface of the trail varies from good firm packed dirt, to loose sand, to stones. The environment is beautiful, especially in the fall. Most of the time you are surrounded by trees, or flanked by corn fields. At some points around Hastings, you will have a view of Rice Lake.You will ride through various wetlands, surrounded by marsh on both sides. Crossing small bridges every so often. As well as views of wide open water.
