Red Pine Walking Trail

Ojibway Provincial Park

Learn about forest succession at nine interpretive stops along this trail. Tranquil and wild, this retreat on Little Vermilion Lake offers good swimming, a sandy beach and fine muskellunge fishing.

Trails weave through pine forests carpeted with lady’s slipper orchids and along shorelines past wild rice. Listen carefully for the wolf’s howl at night.
