Location: Blue Spruce Resort near Algonquin Park
Cost/Availability: $125 per person for the weekend
Share lovely and comfortable, well maintained, winterized cottages. Ski at Algonquin Park or Arrowhead Provincial Park nearby. 4-piece bathroom (bath and shower). Whirlpool bathtubs in all cottages, fully equipped kitchen with all amenities, all necessary linens and towels, log burning fireplaces, AM-FM radio, TV, VCR, DVD, CD player.
We have 3 cottages booked (#1, 3 and 7), for total of 17 people including 4 rooms for couples. Two ski areas, a short drive away, are Algonquin park (west gate) and Arrowhead. Neither is pre-booked, so you can take your pick, or just hang around the cottages, which also have a small ski trail. There is also a cleared and flooded skating rink out on the lake, across the road.
Often, due to the long drive, members like to take the entire Friday off, so check with your ride regarding this point.

Please mail in the fully filled out and signed application form, with your preferences, starting on Decemeber 1st.
Include a cheque, or payment can be done via Interac Online (payment link with exact amount will be provided on request).
Decemeber 15th is the final day to sign up, as we need to commit to rooms at Ecolodge. However, you can try later, to see if there is still space available.
The club facilitates passengers looking for rides. A list of drivers, willing to take passengers, will be compiled and distributed to those members looking for rides. The onus is on the passenger to find a ride, not on the Trakkers Weekend Trip coordinator. It is important for individuals who use their vehicles for carrying passengers to have adequate Third Party Automobile Liability Insurance.
Why the new process? Our weekend trips fill up so fast that many members miss the chance for a weekend trip experience. We hope it makes things better. Your patience is appreciated and your feedback welcomed.
