Welcome to the Durham Outdoors Club. The Durham Outdoors Club began with a small group of like-minded individuals that got together informally to enjoy outdoor pursuits in each others company. As word of the core group spread others joined, and in 1996 a formal club with an executive, and event coordinators was organized.
Our members enjoy a common goal of learning about and pursuing a broad range of outdoor activities and experiences. Hiking, canoeing/kayaking, canoe tripping, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter camping are among the clubs more common pursuits.
