Schmidt Woods is changing. An alien creature (Emerald Ash Borer) has been brought to Canada and over several years has been killing off our ash trees. How many? Our walk, with Louis Silcox, along the trail at the Wilmot Rec Center will give you an idea. Someone has marked and counted the ones to be removed. Damn! It’s something like a treasure hunt, but there’s no treasure.
Bug spray is a good idea and proper footwear.
