This is a special collaborative hike between Let's Hike T.O, OLTA (Ontario Land Trust Alliance) , and CultureLink. The hike is designed to be accessible for everyone, with the starting and ending points conveniently located near subway stations for easy public transit access.
Our journey begins at the entrance of Toronto Archives near Dupont subway station, where we'll embark on a scenic walk through the streets to reach Roycroft Park, serving as the gateway to the Nordheimer ravine. This ravine boasts a tranquil walking path surrounded by native trees, plants, and local wildlife. The hike promises to be an easy stroll, providing a clean and peaceful environment to inhale the refreshing air. Crossing St Clair Ave W, we'll continue our journey through the streets before immersing ourselves once again in the serene woods near Cedarvale park, connecting with nature.
As we traverse the path, we'll pass beneath impressive bridges and the Cedarvale Park sports field. Our hike will end at Eglinton West subway station, completing our refreshing journey through nature's embrace.
Our hike will focus on connecting with nature and promoting mental health.
Everyone and anyone is welcome, but Let's Hike T.O. has a focus on diversity and is keen to include newcomers, people of colour, and young adults aged 20-40.
