Description
On this walk, we’ll travel thousands of years exploring the area’s lengthy Indigenous history evidenced by the oldest artifacts found in all of Toronto; its unique ecology, including the presence of three endangered bat species; and its heyday as a resort and recreation destination.
Start Location: Bluffer's Park Parking Lot (west end)
Our staff and volunteers will be at the tour's starting location 30 minutes prior to each tour. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the tour to allow time for check in.
End Location: Bluffer's Park Parking Lot (west end)
Length of Tour: Approximately 90 minutes
Distance and Terrain: This tour is approximately 1.5 kilometers in distance and takes place on unpaved paths and trails. Not all sections of the trail may be accessible to those with mobility devices.
Online pre-registration is required for all tours. You may not be able to join a tour group if you have not registered ahead of time.
We ask for your help and patience in making the tour experience as safe as possible for everyone. Participants are welcome to wear a mask during the tour.
