Overview
Access Point to Raccoon Lake (P52) is a portage in the Kawartha Highlands providing a taste of wilderness canoeing, close to southern Ontario.
There are six recommended canoe routes through the park, ranging from easy to moderate in difficulty.
A canoe route map is available for sale from the park office.
Kawartha Highlands Signature Site is the largest park in southern Ontario after Algonquin Provincial Park.
It is a special place with opportunities to experience the outdoors ranging from backcountry canoeing and camping to a short hike. Before visiting please be aware that the access points at Kawartha have limited facilities...
