Overview
The Clearview-Collingwood Train Trail was recently renamed to the Barrie-Collingwood Rail Trail when Simcoe County officially opened the new extension from Stayner to Angus (at 5th Line) on April 30, 2026. The trail is now 33.7 kilometres from Collingwood to Angus, *Thanks Robert Zaichkowski
Spanning from Collingwood to Stayner, the Barrie-Collingwood Rail Trail is a crushed gravel, linear trail . It follows an abandoned rail line which used to be part of the Ontario Simcoe and Huron Railway system connecting Collingwood to Toronto.
