Rideau River Provincial Park
A 3-km trail winds along the Rideau River shoreline for the length of the park. This park occupies a shady bank on the historic Rideau Canal near Kemptville.
It is witness to a parade of recreational boats cruising between Kingston and Ottawa. Sandy beaches, a fitness trail and fishing offer distractions.
Down the road are hiking trails and a golf course. Ottawa is only 20 minutes away.
