A well-established system of trails exists in Centennial Park. An information sign is posted and outlines the trails available, and colour markings on the trees help hikers find their way.
There has been some transition of the trails in the park in order to better accomodate mountain biking. The trails provided by the region are non-motorized.
In addition to existing plant and animal life, many trees and shrubs have been planted to establish an arboretum and wildlife habitat.

The King Township Museum is a place to preserve, interpret and celebrate the history of the Township. The Museum is housed in the Old Kinghorn School SS #23 built in 1861 with modern additions added in the 1960's. In 1978 the school was purchased by the Township of King and placed under the care of the King Township Historical Society.
A historic community hall featuring social and music events. The Hall is also available for rental. The hall is located in the community of Laskay

The King Heritage and Cultural Centre is home to the King Township Museum, Archives, Historical Society, and Arts Society of King. The museum collection of local historical artifacts, all relating to the history of King, are used to interpret and preserve the material culture of the community. We offer a variety of programs, exhibits and historical lecture series as well as research services and school break camp programs.
A not- for -profit arts and crafts studio located in King City , Ontario. Members meet at Kingcrafts House, a historically significant building, at 12936 Keele St., King City, in various studio groups .New members of every skill level are welcome. The Oak Ridges Trail is a linear hiking trail that runs more than 160 km east-west along the Oak Ridge Moraine just north of Toronto. There are also about 100 km of side trails that link to the trail. The west end of the trail links to the Bruce Trail. Near the east end it connects with the Ganaraska Trail.
