A short trail with a series of benches and a turtle-viewing blind which is the best place for seeing turtles from May through September. Painted and Map turtles are the most common and maybe an occasional Blanding turtle in the spring and Red-eared slider in the summer and fall, and occasionally a Snapping turtle will be seen sunning on a log. The clump of Red Osier Dogwood at the start of the trail is a good place to view Warblers and other song birds.
