SJAM Winter Trail

The Kichi Sibi Winter Trail is…

…a groomed multi-use winter trail that stretches along the Ottawa River Capital Pathway, from the Lebreton Flats just west of Parliament Hill to Dominion Station. The trail welcomes all users whether they are walkers, skiers, runners, snowshoers or fat bikers.

The salt-free trail respects the sensitive environment of the river shoreline.

As the trail is a community project, business sponsorships are counted on to provide an important source of funding and engagement for the trail.

These sponsors typically fund a third of our annual expenses.  Individual donations and public funding (City of Ottawa and the NCC), cover the other two thirds of the costs of running the winter trail.
