The Dalewood walking trail is a fairly moderate hike with some slight hills and steep areas. However, a walk around the Dalewood reservoir alone is 6 km. So decide how far you want to go before heading out.
The complete 13-km path meanders along Kettle Creek leading you to the Don Patterson Conservation Area. While you’ll marvel at the hardwood forests, pine plantations and walnut groves along the way, remember it is another 13-km back to your car.
Additional trail maps and information are available at Dalewood’s gatehouse during the camping season. Information provided by the Kettle Creek Conservation Authority website.
