Nicholsons Locks & Vicinity Tour

This on and off road hike in the area of Upper and Lower Nicholsons Locks passes a variety of interesting natural and historic features including an historic bridge that is swung by hand, an osprey nest, a ghost town, and a pioneer cemetery.

Parking, washrooms and picnic facilities are available in season while the Rideau Canal Waterway is open. Two OTENTiks - a cross between a cabin and a tent - are available for rent by Parks Canada at Upper Nicholson's Lock Station.
