The 'Prescott-Russell' Recreational Trail is a 72km rail-to-trail conversion, and while named 'Prescott Russell' the trail is no longer managed nor operated by the County of Prescott Russell.
CP Rail owns the corridor and until we recive any further information we are unsure as to who is managing the trail. we will add this information when we find out. Merci.
Starts at km 3 in St-Eugene and ends at km 72 in Hammond, near Ottawa's boundary.
The Trail traverses the United Counties of Prescott and Russell from east to west and crosses through five of the eight municipalities, East Hawkesbury, Champlain, La Nation, Alfred-Plantagenet, and Clarence-Rockland.
Going east from km 14, pasture lands and farms provide a tranquil and leisurely backdrop. At km 17, a short jaunt off the trail will take you to the 18 hole Nation Golf Course or to an unforgettable gliding adventure at the Gatineau Gliding Club.
