Nagagamisis Provincial Park
This trail follows the shoreline of Park Lake.
Interpretive stops explain how native people used plants and animals to survive in this environment. Anglers return year after year to this secluded lake north of Hornepayne, which leads to challenging canoe routes on the Nagagami and Shekak rivers.
Cree for “lake with fine, sandy shores,” Nagagamisis offers a true northern experience with good fishing and swimming, majestic sunsets, and beautiful campsites nestled in a mature forest.
