Spray Lake Ice Skating Trail


Spray Lake switches gears from summer fun and every winter turns into a winter wonderland for private ice skating and hockey events in the Holland Marsh, the heart of King Township, Ontario.

Our 2 KM natural Ice Trail on the lake and 3 shinny pads in the middle of the lake is fun for the whole family.

Pre booking is mandatory, as well as having a profile for each individual that contains your legal waiver. Limited spots are available are per health regulations and to maintain good consistent conditions and experiences. Spectators will also need a profile and proof of payment to be on the property.

Open daily 10am-8pm by appointment starting January 15th 2022.

  1. ICE SKATING - TRAIL

    Join us for a fun ice skate around the lake. This booking is for the 2km ice skating loop (Winter General Admission).

    The trail wraps around the lake with ample space. You will be sharing the loop with the rest of the public who have pre-booked.

    Cost per person = $25+hst and is valid all-day. The 1-hour time slot is your scheduled time of arrival.

    Important information you need to know before arriving

    • Covid-19 protocols: There is a 25 person outdoor gathering limit per group.
    • The indoor change room is closed. There while be a designated picnic table area where you lace up your skates.
    • Parents are responsible for supervising their children and will need a booking/waiver and winter general admission ticket even if they watch from land. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
    • Reminder - NO PETS ALLOWED.
    • The ice surface is natural lake ice and may change conditions day to day. Bumps and cracks may form as conditions change throughout the day. If the conditions are unsafe, the loop will be closed until the conditions improve. Booked times will be rescheduled to a future day/time or refunded in the event of complete closure. Please refer to our policy pages for further details about weather closures.
    • Please arrive at your scheduled time to check-in at the office and lace-up at the picnic tables.
    • Shiny nets on the big lake are first come, first serve, and we encourage you to share with others if you have been there for a while.
    • No rental gear on-site - please bring your own gear
