Some of our trails leave you face-to-face with the rock

Rock climbing has become very popular in Ontario over the last number of years. And no wonder – there thousands of cliffs, bluffs and crags for climbers to test their skills.

In southern Ontario, most of them run along the Niagara Escarpment, which runs from Niagara Falls up to the tip of Tobermory. Climbers are familiar with Rattlesnake Point, Mount Nemo, Old Baldy and Bon Echo.
