Overview

From Desert Lake Road to Salmon Lake Road, turning left it follows the road with Pearkes Lake on the right, crosses a bridge over Otter Lake and reaches the entrance to Frontenac Provincial Park. The Rideau Trail Association is a non-profit organization and a founding member of Hike Ontario.

Its purpose is to preserve and maintain a hiking trail from Kingston to Ottawa.
