KAMVIEW NORDIC SKI TRAILS

LOOKING FOR SOME BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE TRAILS?

The Road Way Ramble (1.1 km) is an easy two way trail that takes you up to the “Hub”. From the “Hub” you will find the Beaver (1.9 km) and the Aspen (3.0 km), both of which are intermediate trails that loop back to the Hub. And if it’s a sunny day with little wind, you won’t find a nicer loop than the Meadow, which is rated easy, but a great trail to soak up some sun as you cross the fields with a great view of the Nor’westers! The JackRabbit (3.8 km) is a beautiful rolling trail, considered intermediate, and found off the Roadway Ramble. Don’t be fooled by the name, it is not dedicated to the Jackrabbit program and is well worth the ski! On the other side of the trail network, you’ll find the Tamarack trail, which is an easy 3.2 km flat trail that winds through the tamaracks. It is accessed from the SunUp trail.

LOOKING FOR A CHALLENGE?

The 6.8 km Lookout trial is a challenging loop that takes you through some great terrain. There is much less traffic on this trail but there are some spectacular views!

WANT TO TAKE YOUR DOG FOR SKI?

Take yourself over to Dudleys, which is an easy 2.2 km loop. You can start from the far end of the parking lot (away from the chalet). But don’t forget to check in/pay at the chalet before you head out! Dogs must be OFF LEASH on this trail and if they do their business on the trail, use your pole to flick it into in the bush. Remember that dogs must be on their leash when near the chalet.

LOOKING FOR SOME NIGHT SKIING?

We have 5.5 kms of trails that are lit for night skiing – the SunUp, SunDown and Northern Lights trails.  Lights go on at dusk and stay on until 9:30 pm every night.  Keep in mind that the chalet closes at 9 pm weeknights, 8 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday!
