Stony Lake Trails
Overview
In July 2016, we officially opened KLT’s Stony Lake Trails network!
It would not have been possible without the support of donors, volunteers, and neighbouring landowners who have assisted with locating the property’s old, unmanaged trails, fixing the trails up, and contributing to their long-term maintenance. Many people have also generously provided permission for the trail network to cross over their private lands.
The 10-kilometre trail network boasts scenic views of Stony Lake, with benches and resting areas available throughout. The trails are suitable for those with moderate and intermediate hiking experience and there are many opportunities to observe the abundant and...
